What is Intimate Photography? More commonly known as boudoir photography, it involves you wearing a lot less than your normal attire.
This is a sexy new trend that's especially popular as a wedding day gift from a bride to her groom. Boudoir photos are usually taken wearing either just a little or nothing at all, but they are hardly sleezy though. Think classic pinup-inspired pics. This means wearing little to nothing without showing off anything either (think shot from the back or side, or lying on your stomach).

Average Time for a Session Though it depends entirly on your needs, your boudoir photo session will probably last about two hours. Multiple set changes, props, hair and makeup (changes in hair and makeup between settings may be done) needs to be taken into consideration, not to mention any additional lighting setup. It may also take you a little while to relax. Most women aren't used to lounging around wearing little, if any, clothing in front of the camera, so your first few shots will likely look a bit stiff.
Ask about adding a session onto your wedding package.
Location is Key
Talk with me is you need to come up with some locations. My studio is always an option, or one popular site is a posh hotel room, such as the Pzazz Spa. Your own home or a borrowed home is another option. A number of different backgrounds and poses are important, and we will also need lots of natural light.
Accessorize!
You will want to choose outfits that make you feel sexy. A good rule of thumb: Bring something white, something black, and something in a bright color so you can mix and match. A corset will create sexy curves, and a strapless bra is a very good idea for the modest model. In addition to lingerie, don't forget shoes, jewelry, and that engagement ring.
Other Tidbits
It is a good idea to bring a friend along. She will be able to put you more at ease with a familiar face and a few jokes, plus she may be able to help with suggestions. In no time you will be posing like a pro -- but of course, this is a one-time-only exclusive for a very special audience (your very lucky groom).
Brides: If you are spending time and money on an exercise and primping routine, you may want to wait until a week or so before the wedding to show off the results.
